<p class="articletext">I don't share the ways how I make money online very often. That's because I'm usually too busy doing it! Unlike many, I'm not in the business of trying to sell worthless products to people who are desperate to make a living themselves. No, I sell all sorts of products as an affiliate-from magazine subscriptions to tractors (yes, you heard that right!), but mainly stuff people use in their everyday lives. <br />

Almost two years ago to the day, I was possibly in the position you are in. I was searching online for ways to make money online from home because I was in the position where it was difficult too work outside the home due to various family commitments, yet I needed an income.<br />

My heart sank this morning when I decided to write this article. I was doing some research just to see what kind of information was out there to people who are in the position I felt almost sick when I found lots of advertisements "guaranteeing" a few hundred dollars or pounds a day (depending where you're from!). I fell for lots of these, signing up to various "schemes". Indeed, my inbox was full everyday-unlike my bank account!<br />

To cut to the chase, I eventually found that internet marketing was a genuine way forward, but it all looked so difficult. I did find quite a lot of helpful free information, but I really needed a teacher to show me exactly how to make money online. <br />

The way I work is varied. Basically, an affiliate sells products on behalf of any number of companies. Sometimes affiliates will operate in one tight field (such as only selling game consoles or one particular health product) whereas some will vary what they sell to take advantage of seasonal trends, such as barbecues in summer, sledges in winter (well, you get the idea!). I tend to work in various fields but generally within areas which interest me personally, such as my hobbies. <br />

So it's all very well knowing you can do this, but the big question is "how?"<br />
<br />
There are many ways of getting your products in front of potential customers. For example, articles like this very one could be written about products and hopefully picked up by and read. Adverts might be placed in online newspapers, or you might use free sites which enable you to showcase your chosen wares. <br />
<br />
For me, how I make money online is by using a range of strategies. I started off using free sites and articles and eventually, when I'd "got my feet wet" and gained some confidence, I started building very simple websites. Sounds complicated? Yes it does, but I was a complete technophobe (and still am to a certain extent!) but with the right teachers and simple step by step instructions, it's not as hard as you might think!</p>
